Advanced FDD Analytics - Diagnostics & Task Management

Course Description:

This more advanced course is intended for existing Impact-Driven Service clients who either have already participated in the initial one-on-one Customer Training after their system completed the onboarding process and was officially turned over, or have taken the Basic FDD Analytics course. In order to take this advanced course, the student must already be able to successfully login, view diagnostics, sort and filter diagnostics, and create and modify tasks.

This course covers more in-depth utilization of the Traditional Interface for enhanced diagnostics and fault analysis, utilizing the task management tools, and beginning troubleshooting. Students will learn to better utilize the Fault Detection and Diagnostic data to understand how to quickly implement solutions and generate real, impactful, attainable, results.

Overview:

This course will build on the initial basic features and abilities so that the student can better utilize the Traditional Interface Diagnostics, Analysis Builder, and Task Management with more in-depth functionality. They will learn how to analyze diagnostics to begin formulating an action plan. Students will practice using the features of the Task Management tools and Analysis Builder tools to better sort and understand the diagnostics and faults presented in the reports. During this class the student will learn how the Fault Detection & Diagnostics act as an additional expert analyzing the building systems and summarizing the results in a meaningful way so that action can be quickly prioritized and implemented to best impact to their business.

Course Prerequisites:

  • Working knowledge of Windows OS
  • Client must have Impact-Driven Controls Service with LONG which includes the use of the Clockworks FDD Platform.
  • Client must have already participated in either:
    • The initial one-on-one Customer Training after their system completed the onboarding process and was officially turned over
    • Or have taken the Basic FDD Analytics course.
  • In order to take this advanced course, the student must already be able to successfully login, view dashboards, and create and modify tasks.
  • Client must bring their own laptop capable of accessing the internet browser (Edge, Chrome, etc.) (guest WiFi will be provided) and access to their client email to receive user credentials.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Use the Portal Dashboards to link internally to the Traditional Interface.
  • Search for specific equipment issues described by a 3rd Party.
  • Differentiate between Diagnostics and Results
  • Differentiate between faults/problems and opportunities
  • Sort and visualize the Comfort, Energy, and Maintenance priorities of the diagnostics.
  • Utilize the task management tool to
    • Add tasks
    • Request Support
    • Add equipment notes
    • Update Recommendations, Actions, and Task Status
    • Understand the features inside the Task Management tool
  • Read the diagnostic reports, graphs, charts, and explanations to troubleshoot issues alerted by the system.
  • Utilize the Analysis Builder Tool to
    • Review Custom Trends
    • Save and send trends/charts and diagnostics to others.
  • Verify task implementation resulted in full solutions and quantify overall results

What You Will Receive

Upon the completion of this course students will have a deeper understanding and more practice navigating the Traditional Interface for further troubleshooting of diagnostics and utilizing the task management tools to track and complete actions.
