Overview:

According to publications, surveys, and official studies, more than 55% of building maintenance tasks are reactive, more than 40% of occupants are dissatisfied with comfort in their space, and over 80% of equipment fail for non-age-related reasons before their time. Those are some lofty challenges to overcome, which are exacerbated by tight budgets and challenges finding, keeping, and training employees in the HVAC & Controls Operations and Maintenance industry. Most facility managers and Maintenance/controls/HVAC technicians are aware that the massive amounts of data collected from building automation systems can be extremely helpful in troubleshooting or optimizing HVAC systems. But proactively sitting in front of the automation system setting up and looking at graphics, trends, and alarms to search for patterns, problems, and perfection is time consuming, and only identifies a fraction of the overall issues.
During this introductory class, you will discover the true benefits and features worth pursuing, and witness the ease of use of the Clockworks FDD tool that Long utilizes internally and makes available to our Impact-Driven Services clients.
