LONG Announces New Core Values

As LONG has grown, so have the things we value. From the 3 C’s: Customer, Co-Worker & Company, comes a shift to Core Values: Customers, Co-Workers, Company, Safety & Community. These combined 5 Core Values are the very thing that make us who we are today.

Core values are what support the mission and vision, shape the culture from within, and reflect what is truly important to LONG as an organization. They ensure each and every employee at every level, are working towards a common goal and share in a bigger purpose. They are the essence of the company’s identity – the principles, beliefs and values.

The Core Values are important to LONG because they represent the heart of our culture. These 5 Core Values demonstrate what the company stands for and provides guidance for employees in their work. They help customers understand what we stand for. And most importantly, they enhance employee communication and increase motivation and engagement.

Simply put, we’ve evolved from the 3 C’s to the Core Values because LONG evolved. LONG’s Core Values should help employees be successful by empowering them. Therefore, as LONG has grown, so have the things we value, and we want to make sure they are included in our Core Values and properly represent who we are.

By acting in accordance to these values, we will inspire the loyalty of our customers, attract, retain, and engage employees, and provide a superior customer experience. This, in turn, will enable us to achieve our mission to deliver innovative building solutions and positively impact every person our business touches.
