This course is intended for building operation personnel who wish to maintain their supervisors and browser machines to provide the best performance out of them while learning how to operate their system.

Overview:

This course is an introduction in navigating the student’s PC to enhance student abilities in supporting the building automation system. The goal of this course is to make the student more comfortable and proficient in handling their system using the PC, while making sure it is healthy and secure. 

Course Prerequisites:

  • Working knowledge of Windows OS
  • Basic mouse and computer skills

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

  • Understand the Windows operating system and how its settings can affect the BAS network and Niagara 
  • Software basics 
  • Maintaining your PC to promote the best performance out of them 
  • Making sure your PC is protected and secure
