DISTECH CONTROLS

Course Description:

This course is intended for building operation personnel who are responsible for in-depth operation and custom programming of a Distech Controls BACnet or LonWorks based system.

Note: All classes are taught in-person at LONG Building Technologies. There are no online options available at the time.

Overview:

This course introduces the student with little or no experience with the Distech Controls BACnet and LonWorks series to the wide range of controllers and their programming. The students will create, download and checkout applications using EC-Gfx. Students will be introduced to the use of BACnet and LonWorks networking. Hands-on lab work will be used to reinforce the lecture material.

Course Prerequisites:

• Working knowledge of Windows OS
• Basic mouse and computer skills
• Basic HVAC system knowledge
