Ray Gardner - PartsPro Extraordinaire

Helpful!  This is the one word that best describes PartsPro, Ray Gardner.

Ray’s true mission in life is to help others!  He is known for being a person that truly cares about others and will always stop to lend a hand.

A strong work ethic was instilled in Ray at an early age.  He credits his parents for this mindset.  One of the many lessons he was taught was punctuality…“don’t arrive on time, arrive early!”  As Ray grew up and entered the workforce, he understood his parents were preparing him for independence in the real world.Ray at Disney.jpg

Ray began working at age 15 and has never had a gap in his work history other than college.  It was Ray’s acceptance into the internship program at Disney World that made one of the biggest impacts on his outlook on life, work, and more importantly, how to treat people.  He had the opportunity to learn and understand how one of the biggest companies in the world operated.  He was taught that the way you treat people was the foundation we should all build on.  He learned that being positive is a must and negativity is detrimental to the guest, employee and company.  The experience at Disney World more than any other gave Ray some unique wisdom that he still values and practices today.

Ray heard about an open position on our PartsPros team from a friend.  He was looking for a change because he was disappointed he was in an environment that did not value listening to their customers.  Ray wanted to be a part of something bigger that shared his belief system.

Ray being goofy.jpgFast forward three years and Ray is an essential member of the PartsPros team.  Ray didn’t have any experience in the HVAC world when he joined LONG, but he did have a thirst for knowledge.

Ray believes you can never truly be a master at something; there is always more to learn.  It was this frame of mind that Ray applied to learning about our customers, LONG and parts.

Whether Ray is pulling an order for a customer pickup, answering questions on which Krueger return diffuser best meets the needs for a quick-hitting tenant finish or helping a customer figure out the lead time on a desperately needed Daikin motor, Ray juggles all of it with a smile on his face accompanied by a “Good Morning” or ”Hi, how is your day going.”

Ray’s sunny disposition is contagious, and he is proud to share the same customer-care purpose with his fellow PartsPros.
