| CONSTRUCTION CONTROL TECHNICIAN - Wyoming |

LONG Building Intelligence, our temperature controls/ building automation group, has immediate openings for Construction Control Technicians. We need people to work out of our Wyoming office. The ideal candidate possesses these qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- 2 year tech school and 5 years related experience or 8 years related experience
Skills:
- extensive HVAC, systems, and control/interlock wiring knowledge
- computer literacy and communication skills
Physical:
- ability to work at heights, in confined spaces and lift moderately heavy loads
Typical job duties include the following:
- Project Installation: coordinate installation and operation of temperature control instrumentation; develop and implement procedures for acceptance of completed work; supervise and monitor subcontractors
- Commissioning: perform check-out and calibration of control systems; perform warranty, emergency and maintenance service
- recommend appropriate service plans to meet customers’ needs
- instruct owner's personnel on operation and maintenance of installed systems, energy management functions, and warranty issues
- assist Project Manager in controlling and documenting material, labor, and installations to meet project requirements
- act as direct report to engineering manager and appropriate project managers as necessary
- coordinate with service technicians, installers and application engineers
- assist and conduct internal education and training
- perform project management role as required
Miscellaneous:
- this is an hourly nonexempt position.
- position participates in a call schedule for after hours service and maintenance
- position has flexibility with regard to personal time management

| CONTROL SYSTEM INSTALLER (electrician) - |

LONG Building Intelligence, our temperature controls/ building automation group, has immediate openings for Control System Installers. We need people to work out of our Colorado Springs, CO office and in Wyoming.
Education and Experience:
- 5 years related experience installing automatic temperature control systems
Skills:
- blue print reading and some knowledge of mechanical systems
Physical:
- work in adverse weather conditions
- able to work at heights, in confined places, and lift reasonably heavy loads
Typical job duties include the following:
- report to construction manager and take direction from journeymen, master installers and project managers
- install automatic control systems according to Long & Associates' installation procedures and per plans and specifications
- report directly to assigned jobsites at beginning of each day
- install conduit systems (EMT, GRC, etc.), copper tubing (with solder joints), plastic tubing and electric cable in a neat and workmanlike manner
- report discrepancies between our drawings and equipment that is actually at the jobsite (both ours and others); document field changes
- perform work neatly, efficiently, safely and professionally
Miscellaneous:
- this position is paid hourly and is nonexempt; typical working hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. including 1/2 hour for lunch

LONG Building Environments, our HVAC equipment sales group, has immediate openings for inside sales assistants. We have immediate openings in our Denver, CO office.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree preferred; minimum high school diploma and 1 year work experience in a clerical or sales support role
Skills:
- basic aptitude in math - good with numbers
- general computer literacy - MS Word, Excel, Outlook & Internet Explorer
- excellent communication skills
Typical job duties include the following:
- Assist Sales Engineers as necessary in preparation of documentation and customer service
- Prepare bid take-offs and estimates
- Assemble product data sheets into booklets/binders for submittal packages to customers
- Prepare product orders for manufacturers
- Coordinate with customers, manufacturers, and other LONG personnel regarding order tracking and status, warranty issues, and product information

LONG Mechanical Solutions, our HVAC and building technology service group, has immediate openings for two Senior Service Technicians to work out of our main Denver office.
Typical job duties include the following:
- Perform maintenance services on all types of control systems, including digital, electronic, electro-mechanical, and pneumatic
- Perform all types of heating and air conditioning equipment service and HVAC equipment retrofit/replacement work
- Perform factory authorized equipment start up and warranty repairs on various types of HVAC equipment such as Mammoth, Dunham - Bush, Governair, PVI, Aaon, Systecon, Aerovent (Flakt), etc.
- Perform factory authorized start up and warranty repairs on Reliance variable frequency drives (VFD's)
- Perform new installations and retrofit replacements of Reliance VFD's
- Perform owner training on various HVAC equipment installations
- Perform after hours emergency service on a weekly rotating basis. You would be on call for one week at a time
The current company benefits include the following:
- Top pay for your skills. Starting range is $25 to $28 per hour plus benefits depending on your qualifications and skills.

LONG Mechanical Solutions, our HVAC service group, has immediate openings for Service Technicians. We need people to work out of our Littleton, Colorado office to service all areas in Metro Denver. The ideal candidiate possesses the below qualifications.
Education and Experience:
- Formal training in 1 or more of the following areas: Controls, Predictive Maintenance, HVAC Equipment, Rooftops, Chillers, Refrigeration, or Boilers
- 5 years related work experience
Skills:
- Good mechanical, electrical, trouble shooting and computer capability
- Good verbal and written communication ability
- Excellent customer relation skills
Physical:
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle with a good Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditios, at heights, in confined spaces and lift up to 75 pounds
- Wears LONG Mechanical Solutions uniform and appropriate PPE as required for task
Typical job duties include the following:
- Efficiently performs startup, service, maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment, controls and systems according to LONG service/dispatch procedures
- Handles a heavy work load of calls while maintaining high quality and leaves work areas clean and neat
- Obtains and maintains appropriate licenses and ensures compliance with applicable codes
- Trains, assists and leads other service technicians and trainees as applicable
- Checks in and out at all jobsites and customer locations with appropriate site contact
- Promptly and accurately completes all required paperwork while on the job
- Obtains customer signature on all service reports
- Uses the voicemail system when lines are busy, regularly checks voice mail for messages and keeps supervisor, manager and/or sales informed of news, such as changes made, disenchantment with price, etc.
- Drives defensively and obeys all traffic laws by complying with LONG driver policy (avoids all confrontational driving situations, must keep temper under control at all times)
- Provides sales with qualified leads and about competitive sales efforts
- Persuades customers to replace obsolete systems and makes recommendations on repairs
- Checks with dispatch before, during and after leaving all service calls. Uses mobile dispatch unit to input time worked and notes on job

- Position participates in a call schedule for after hours service and maintenance
- Typical working hours are 8 hours between 6 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.; lunch is on personal time
