University of Colorado Recreation Center

Originally built with funds from student fees, the CU Rec Center opened in 1973 and was well known for its energy conserving design. The arrival of many new technologies during the last 27 years afforded this facility a unique opportunity to reassert its reputation. The many building systems upgrades and retrofits are underway now.
